The Northern Cape Bulk Water Supply Scheme.
Perhaps the best example of our emergence as a leading player in the Public – Private Partnership space is our appointment to the Bulk Water Supply Scheme, a Landmark Public-Private Partnership Delivering Water Security and Driving Transformation in the Northern Cape.
By uniting government vision with private sector resources and commitment, the project is a blueprint for infrastructure delivery that places communities first.
BOFFIN & FUNDI’S APPOINTMENT TO THE BULK WATER SUPPLY SCHEME IS A TESTIMONY TO OUR ABILITY TO DELIVER INNOVATIVE, SUSTAINABLE IMPACTS THAT WILL IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR A LARGE NUMBER OF NORTHERN CAPE COMMUNITIES.
The construction of the bulk water supply project is critical to both the mining sector and communities of the Northern Cape, and involves the construction of a bulk pipeline and includes reticulation to many communities located along the pipeline.
B&F is involved on the bulk pipeline, with our involvement focused on the design and implementation of 3 well sites which represent approximately 55 boreholes and 140 km of reticulation pipelines that feed into the new, main pipeline, plus 20km bulk pipeline.
This Public – Private Collaboration in the Northern Cape will see many communities also benefit from getting reliably clean water from the water scheme.
